TobyWolverhampton

Toby turned up as a stray on 16 October at a factory in Wolverhampton very dirty and hungry. Attempts to locate his owner proved unsuccessful so he is now looking for a new home under our Direct Rehoming Scheme.

He is approximately 18 months old and is mainly white with grey patches. The lady who has been feeding him is unable to keep him but he now has regular meals and has been to vets to be neutered, flead and wormed. With regular meals, shelter and tlc he has blossomed into a handsome boy.

Toby has a healthy appetite and eats both wet and dry food.

He doesn’t like being picked up but is a really friendly chap who just wants a forever home. As his background is unknown it is probably better if he goes to an adult only home or one where the children are teenagers as we do not feel a boisterous household would be for him.

He doesn’t appear keen on other cats when he has seen them so it would be best if he was the only pet.

If Toby sounds like the chap for you then please arrange to come and meet him.
To help people find new homes for cats they are unable to keep, we try to help via our DHS. This consists of advertising the cat on our website with as much info that we are aware of with a view to putting the prospective adopter in touch with the current carer. Each prospective adopter still has a home visit even though the cat is not the care of Cats Protection.
All known info regarding any cat on our DHS will be given to the prospective adopter at the time of the home visit. We make no claim to have accurate knowledge of the cat, its health, vaccination status, or whether it is neutered, microchipped etc.

All rehomings are subject to a successful home visit. If you live in rented/leasehold property we require written consent to have a cat(s) from the landlord, management company or freeholder (whichever applies) to be obtained before a home visit can be undertaken.
