MonaWolverhampton

Mona is approx 8 years old and is looking for a home under our Direct Rehoming Scheme. Due to a change in his owner’s circumstances Mona lives as an indoor cat as his current owner now lives in a flat with communal gardens and he is being terrorised by the cats there. She decided it is best to keep him indoors until a new home can be found where he can go outdoors and feel safe.

Mona is an extremely handsome ginger and white chap with fur you can sink your hands into. He is very friendly and loving and adores lots of fuss. He has a healthy appetite and eats dry food and enjoys his treats. He is slightly overweight but we are sure that he will lose this weight once he can venture outdoors again. He is neutered, littered trained, microchipped and has no known medical conditions.

Mona’s ideal home would be adult only or one where the children are teenagers. A boisterous household or one where young children visit regularly wouldn’t be for him. Please arrange to come and meet Mona as we know when you do you will fall in love with him there and then!

To help people find new homes for cats they are unable to keep, we try to help via our DHS. This consists of advertising the cat on our website with as much info that we are aware of with a view to putting the prospective adopter in touch with the current carer. Each prospective adopter still has a home visit even though the cat is not the care of Cats Protection. All known info regarding any cat on our DHS will be given to the prospective adopter at the time of the home visit. We make no claim to have accurate knowledge of the cat, its health, vaccination status, or whether it is neutered, microchipped etc. All rehomings are subject to a successful home visit. If you live in rented/leasehold property we require written consent to have a cat(s) from the landlord, management company or freeholder (whichever applies) to be obtained before a home visit can be undertaken.
