This is Pip and as at 7 March he is approximately 7 months old.

Born outside, he was brought into care with his brother Leo, whom he is close to so it would be good to rehome them together but this isn’t essential. As Pip had never had contact with people he was petrified of humans. However, with lots of love, time and patience he is slowly learning to trust and even greets his foster mom at the door to his room.

Pip prefers dry food although he will sometimes eat wet. He is just starting to trust enough to come and sit on his foster mom’s lap and whilst she strokes him he will take treats of chicken and ham from her hand.

Pip loves to play with all sorts of toys, especially fishing rod types and ping pong balls but his favourite toy is a little clockwork mouse.

We are looking for a very special home for Pip that will see past his timidness and allow him the time and patience to build up his trust at his own pace, whilst being aware that this may time a long time.

Pip needs an adult only home or one where the children are at aged at least 10 plus and know how to behave around timid animals. A boisterous household or one where young children visit regularly definitely wouldn’t be for him. Ideally we would like Pip to go to a home where he isn’t left for long periods of time on his own. Finally it would be lovely for him to have a garden (well away from main roads) that he could be gradually introduced to and explore when he feels brave enough to go outside.

Could you be that special person who will see past Pip’s shyness and offer him the loving home he so deserves?
