Sammy Direct RehomeWolverhampton

Sammy is a 3 year old lady looking for a new home under our Direct Rehoming Scheme.

Very timid when you first meet her she will hide away, but when she gets to know you she starts to relax. We are looking for a home that will see past her shyness and allow her the time and patience to grow in confidence, whilst understanding that this may take time.

Sammy eats most brands of cat food, preferring wet food to dry and she loves Dreamies.

She enjoys being outdoors during warmer weather but when the nights draw in she prefers a warm place to sleep with all her home comforts.

Sammy has been spayed and is microchipped.

Her ideal home would be adult only or one where children are at least 10 plus and know how to behave around animals. A boisterous household or one where young children visit regularly definitely wouldn’t be for her. She can use a cat flap and loves the outdoors so her forever home needs to have a garden.

She also needs to be the only pet so she can have all the love and attention to herself.

To help people find new homes for cats they are unable to keep, we try to help via our DHS. This consists of advertising the cat on our website with as much info that we are aware of with a view to putting the prospective adopter in touch with the current carer. Each prospective adopter still has a home visit even though the cat is not the care of Cats Protection.

All known info regarding any cat on our DHS will be given to the prospective adopter at the time of the home visit. We make no claim to have accurate knowledge of the cat, its health, vaccination status, or whether it is neutered, microchipped etc. All rehomings are subject to a successful home visit. If you live in rented/leasehold property we require written consent to have a cat(s) from the landlord, management company or freeholder (whichever applies) to be obtained before a home visit can be undertaken.
